THEATER CLASSES

Stage Right Junior Acting Classes

Stage Right Performing Arts and Education is planning to offer acting classes for children 8 to 14 years of age who want to learn about acting in a supportive and creative environment — and have fun putting on a show!

This class will include a combination of theater and improvisation games, and a short, simple play, or scenes from a collection of plays.  Music may be added — but singing skills are not required!

There will also be vocal warm-ups, monologues, improv exercises, and storytelling, and students will give a demonstration of the skills they have learned on the final day of class. This is designed for children who want to learn about acting in a supportive and creative environment.  We will encourage children to discover new skills and confidence as they play theater games, rehearse scenes, and experience the thrill of performing.

Although no previous acting experience is necessary, the fun class is designed for children with an interest in performing and “pretending.”
